6-Week Beginner Potter's Wheel Course

Service Description

In this 6-week course, students will learn basic potter's wheel throwing skills, learn about tools, basics like wedging, wheel use and care, clean-up, trimming, and glazing. Classes are 1.5 hours long. This course meets once per week, on Wednesdays from 4PM-5:30PM. for 6 weeks in a row, unless there's a holiday or holiday eve, in which case, we will resume session the following Wednesday. We do not hold lessons on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. When you enroll, you are reserving a seat for one 6-week long session. A 25lb block of clay will be provided and is included in the cost of the course. Students must also purchase or bring their own tool kit. We carry tool kits in the studio for your convenience. You can choose from a couple of different options on the first lesson day.
